This was a really fun and interesting project. Client was the University of Washington Center for Conservation Biology. Site needed a simple user interface to allow one to access any of content from any page of the site.
This site has a lot of information about their many diverse programs being conducted by their researchers. In order to allow the user to reach any page of the site easily I created a top navigation based on the CSS suckerfish method. This was further enhanced with Javascript to make it a little prettier courtesy of the Superfish code.
Another method used to contain a lot of info in a relatively small area was a slider with hidden overflow so the user could quickly scroll through summaries of all of the projects.
Site was built using the WordPress framework to provide the user with a simple back end to easily update the content.
